Our longest-serving team member, Account Manager Sally Baines, is this week celebrating her fifth anniversary as part of the Full Mix Marketing team!
Sally was just the second person to join the team in 2018, after Full Mix Marketing was launched by our directors Sarah and James in September 2016.
In the five years since, she’s been both a key ingredient in our success and an incredibly positive force within our growing team of eight.
So, to help mark the occasion – along with a special cake – we thought we’d ask Sally for her five standout clients or memories from the last five years:
“Time has both flown by and been packed full of exciting clients and projects. Where do I start!” says Sally.
“First to mind is working with Chell Instruments. We had just begun working with Chell when I joined and I’m delighted to say we’re still delivering their marketing now. Such a professional organisation, with fascinating involvement in Formula 1, aircraft development and more.”
Next, Sally has picked something closer to home:
“The new Full Mix Marketing website launched last month is the third in my time and each has marked a step forward in the business. The new website looks great and really showcases what Full Mix has achieved and what the next five years might hold”
Sally joined Full Mix Marketing after a career break to start a family and brought with her over 14 years of international marketing experience working for companies including Bell in Canada, NBC in Australia and Reed in London.
“Handing over responsibility for a client for the first time is almost as nerve-racking as leaving your child at nursery!” says Sarah West, our founder and Managing Director.
“However, Sally was so professional, it was easy. Five years on, she supports many of our clients with such integrity and their respect for her is so clear to see”
Promoted to Senior Marketing Executive and then Account Manager, Sally has become the primary point of contact for many of the businesses who turn to us for effective marketing.
“My third memorable client is Roma International, manufacturers of bottles for the cosmetics and perfume industry” says Sally.
“Working with Barry, Rob and others was a pleasure and I was proud of the support we gave. They are now part of a larger group which provides marketing but I’m hopeful they enjoyed our working relationship too”
Sally coordinates and manages the delivery of marketing for a range of companies, as well as providing elements such email marketing and social media herself.
“Sally is incredibly well organised” says James West, our fellow director and founder.
“But, it’s her support of Sarah, myself, our colleagues and clients that I’d like to highlight. All businesses face challenges but Sally always has the same smile and the same determination to get things done and do a great job!”
Here at Full Mix Marketing, we have established ourselves as East Anglia’s leading B2B marketing agency. However, it’s our support of an organisation which serves the people of Essex which is Sally’s fourth pick:
“It’s such a pleasure working with Provide CIC who deliver Essex Sexual Health Services. In the last year, we’ve helped launch their eC-Card free condom scheme, built them an exciting new website and they’ve been awarded a new 7-year contract, in part due to the marketing we’ve helped deliver. Meeting up with Chris, Grace and the Provide team is something I always look forward to”
“My final mention is for Tomtech. Again, we’ve supported them for a couple of years now and significantly grown awareness of their greenhouse control technology through direct marketing and exposure in the horticultural press. Making that sort of a difference is really fulfilling and rewarding”
