Throughout November 2024, our colleagues Jake and James have been growing moustaches to help raise awareness and money for men’s health, as part of Movember.

Jake shaved off his trusty beard of over 5 years – whilst James had dreams of producing some furry face furniture to rival Selleck, Reynolds, Mercury…

Movember is a global event which asks men to grow a moustache – or get active – to support the fight for better men’s mental health and against prostate and testicular cancer. You can find out more here: https://uk.movember.com/

As 30 days of growing came to an end, James said:

“No Magnum PI or Smokey and the Bandit comparisons – but my mother-in-law did say I reminded her of Freddie Mercury, so I’ll take that! Movember is a superb campaign and charity to support. My paternal grandfather sought help late and died of prostate cancer aged just 70. My maternal grandfather spotted the symptoms early and will be 99 in January! Always best to get any changes checked”

Early indications are that the chaps believe their moustaches have more to give and could be a feature until Christmas… and beyond!
