Leading business-to-business (B2B) marketing agency, Full Mix Marketing, have welcomed an exciting new Graphic Designer to their trusted team.
Scarlet Smith has joined the Norwich-based agency to help deliver visual design across all types of marketing for their UK-wide and international clients.
“A few weeks in and Scarlet is living up to every expectation! The level of applications and candidates for our vacancy was very high but Scarlet stood out for her creative talent, eagerness to learn and can-do attitude” says James West, Director of Full Mix Marketing.
Scarlet’s role is to help produce visual elements of marketing for the agency’s diverse clients, in sectors including manufacturing, engineering, technology, construction, logistics and business services.
“Many of the things Full Mix’s clients do are new to me but they’re fascinating and fun to design for. I never thought I’d be so keen to understand more about compact loaders, fire safety systems, underfloor heating and international logistics!” says Scarlet.
A Norfolk native, Scarlet studied at Wymondham High Sixth Form before gaining a degree in Graphic Design at Nottingham Trent University.
She has subsequently gained valuable experience in a number of roles, including designing visual elements for mobile apps that help public attractions understand visitor behaviour and increase guest satisfaction.
“Marketing is all about words, images and tactics, and we’re fortunate to have experts in each area. Scarlet brings a fresh perspective to the design we deliver as well as fitting in great with our superb team” adds James.
Her new role is proving as diverse as the agency’s clients, with Scarlet already contributing to branding, brochure design, ad campaigns and digital marketing imagery.
Full Mix Marketing recently celebrated their ten year anniversary and have grown to become one of the UK’s leading B2B marketing agency, specialising in marketing for companies who work with other businesses.
The team provide every element of strategic, digital and creative marketing, often acting as their clients’ complete marketing department. They have clients across the UK, from Bristol to Newcastle, and an increasing number who are headquartered in Europe.
Scarlet joins Full Mix Marketing as another long-standing member of the team embarks on an exciting new direction.
Fellow graphic designer Katy Williamson has been with the agency six and half years and is leaving to pursue her passion for collage art.
Katy has recently been commissioned by a number of magazines, including creating a collage of Donald Trump for Politico and a collage of football legend Paul Gascoigne for The Sunday Times. She is also creating art for a leading US-based DJ.
“We’re so grateful to Katy for all her hard work and support. Her positivity, humour and easy-going nature will be deeply missed, but we’re proud she is grabbing this opportunity. Look out for her art in magazines and across billboards!” says James.
Full Mix Marketing’s new graphic designer, Scarlet, says her own love of art came from her mother and she particularly enjoys using watercolours to produce children’s illustrations.
Outside of work, Scarlet is a regular swimmer; though claims it is more for health than enjoyment! However, she is keen to do more scuba diving having had her first experience exploring Australia’s Great Barrier Reef.
“We’re delighted to have Scarlet on board. We’re hopeful we can help further develop her marketing skills, whilst her creativity helps all our clients stand out and look their very best!” concludes James.
